Celebrate Earth Day with neighbors and plant your own flowers. Seed Ballz, soil, and pot will be provided (or you’re welcome to bring your own).

Price: $5.00 per set (Seed Ball, soil and pot).

Why are flowers important? For most plants, flowers attract pollinators to make seeds, helping plants to reproduce and form the next generation. Flowers also play important roles in our ecosystems. Floral nectar, pollen and even petals are an important food source for a huge range of animals, from bees and beetles to birds and bats.

What are Seed Ballz? Seed Ballz are a unique and special success story. Inspired by the teachings of author Masanobu Fukuoka and his approach to natural farming, a special blend of red clay, rich humus and a whole package of flower seeds were used in their creation. A partnership was then formed with organizations assisting the developmentally disabled hand-roll this unique garden product in USA. The result of these shared efforts is a new to grow cluster of flowers and herbs while creating meaningful, therapeutic work for valuable Members of our community. Seed Ballz are perfect for outdoor patio pots and garden beds.

Reminder: The Lifestyle team sets registration deadlines prior to event dates in order to confirm event statuses, minimum participation requirements, and/or food orders with vendors. If you are unable to attend an event, are interested in participating after the deadline has passed, or an event is sold out, please contact the Lifestyle team.
