Join our guest speaker, Jeff Hessel, presenting “Eyewitness to History: My Time at Cape Canaveral During the Space Race.” It chronicles the period he worked at the Cape at the height of the Space Race and the time of the Apollo Program and includes its history, why it was selected, rare footage of JFK’s visit, competition with Russia, witnessing the Apollo 11 launch, assigned projects and much more. A minimum of 10 Members must register in order to hold this event.
